Mayte Lopez Ferrer belongs on research technician staff of the Spanish Council for Scientific Research, CSIC. At the moment she is the person in charge of the library of Institute for Innovation and Knowledge Management (INGENIO), joint Institute of the Spanish Council for Scientific Research and the Polytechnic University of Valencia.
She is Graduate in Documentation from the Carlos III University of Madrid and PhD in Documentation, from the University of Valencia.
She has worked as research technician in other institutes of the Spanish Council for Scientific Research, CSIC. And she has been lecturer of University of Valencia and of the Open University of Catalonia (UOC) in their respective Degrees of Documentation.
Her areas of interest are bibliometrics and social network analysis applied to scientific activity.
