Using the theorical framework of the capability approach (Sen 1999, 2009) and participatory video (PV) as a method to articulate the voice of young people (Milne et al. 2012), this chapter offers an insight into the use of PV as a methodology for the research and analysis of youth participation and its impact on public policy that directly affects their aspirations and realities. This chapter is the product of our reflections and analysis throughout the process and is an opportunity to establish a dialogue between PV and the capability approach perspective.
