Marie Curie Early Stage Researcher (ESR) in the POLISS Innovative Training Network (ITN) and a PhD candidate at INGENIO in the "Local Development and International Cooperation" doctoral program of the UPV.

The overarching goal of POLISS is to contribute to improving the European Union’s Smart Specialisation Policy. My research theme within POLISS is coordination and local networks. More specifically I am interested in analyzing the contribution of key network actors (brokers or gatekeepers) to the exchange and recombination of knowledge on a regional level, as well as assessing the implications they may have for the resilience of the entire network.

I have a Master’s Degree in Sustainable Development from Cambridge University (UK) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a combined minor in Environmental and Political Science from Union College (USA).
