Researchers from INGENIO have participated in the evaluation report of the POLISABIO program. Working with the Universitat Politècnica de València, the Fisabio Foundation, and the In4all research group at the Universitat de València, the team conducted an audit and analysis of the program’s results throughout its history.
POLISABIO brings together the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) and the Fisabio Foundation with the aim of fostering collaboration between the university’s technological research staff and clinical staff at healthcare centers to address real needs within the healthcare system.
A distinctive feature of the project has been its ability to match research groups from both institutions. The evaluation concluded that 75% of collaborations at the UPV are due to the matching efforts of the management team.
The results were obtained through a process of collecting and analyzing primary data from a survey of all research staff in the program, as well as conducting qualitative interviews.
