INGENIO (CSIC-UPV) held the workshop “Arts-based pedagogies and research: A critical reflection on academic practices”, an event that explored how artistic practices can enrich teaching and research in academia.
The workshop, organised by INGENIO’s Focal Area 3 (FA3), took place at the Universitat Politècnica de València and brought together experts who shared their experiences of applying arts-based approaches to teaching and research.
The event also included practical activities and opportunities for collective reflection. Through creative exercises, such as drawing and guided writing, participants reflected on their own academic practices and explored ways of incorporating artistic methods into their work.
This activity was part of the work plan of Focal Area 3 within the MaX-CSIC project, which focuses on collaborative processes in knowledge generation and application, with particular attention to collaboration between different stakeholders to address complex societal challenges through approaches aimed at ecosocial transformation.
