Alejandra Boni, a researcher at INGENIO (CSIC–UPV), has joined the Executive Board of the European Forum for Studies of Policies for Research and Innovation (Eu-SPRI).
The Executive Committee is Eu-SPRI’s main decision-making body. Its responsibilities include selecting the association’s annual programme of activities and evaluating proposals to host its annual conference and other scientific events.
Within the Executive Committee, Alejandra Boni will be responsible for coordinating the activities of TRIP-EuHub, a joint initiative of the Transformative Innovation Policy Consortium (TIPC) and Eu-SPRI. The Hub aims to create a platform for exchange between researchers and policymakers to advance new innovation policies that address major societal and environmental challenges.
“We are currently working on the development of a European industrial doctoral programme to support the formative evaluation of transformative innovation policies,” says Boni. The proposal, led by INGENIO (CSIC–UPV), brings together eight Eu-SPRI research centres and national, regional, and local government organisations, which will co-supervise the doctoral projects.
