TRAINING
Doctoral Studies
INGENIO offers a vibrant, international environment for candidates pursuing a PhD under the guidance of research staff. Our researchers explore diverse innovation-related topics using both qualitative and quantitative methodologies, providing students with exceptional opportunities for growth within global research networks.
Though doctoral students may enroll through any of the Doctoral Programs available at the UPV, INGENIO research staff actively participate in two of these doctoral programs:
- PhD in Local Development and International Cooperation
- PhD in Design, Manufacturing and Management of Industrial Projects
Applicants must hold a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field and demonstrate high proficiency in English. We seek proactive candidates eager to share ideas and contribute to our collective research goals. Interested applicants must submit an Expression of Interest, including:
- A concise research proposal (max. 2 pages)
- Preferred supervisor(s) within the Institute
- A CV and academic transcripts
While INGENIO does not offer directly funding, students can engage in paid research and training activities. Shortlisted candidates receive dedicated support throughout the UPV Doctoral School application process. We also welcome visiting doctoral students from other institutions for predetermined research stays.
