About
Belén Prieto holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management and has more than twenty years of professional experience in project management, fundraising, innovation, marketing, and organizational development in both national and international environments.
She is currently part of INGENIO (CSIC-UPV), where she supports the identification of funding opportunities for R&D&I activities, the design of fundraising strategies, the preparation of competitive proposals, and the management and monitoring of research projects. She also contributes to the preparation of reports, activity planning, and the improvement of internal processes related to research activities.
Previously, she carried out research management, innovation, and knowledge transfer activities in several institutes of the Universitat Politècnica de València. Among her main achievements is securing a €360,000 grant from the Valencian Innovation Agency (AVI) for the R&D transfer project “Knowledge Transfer Network for a Sustainable Mobility (Know4SMob)”. She was in charge of the whole development of the proposal, analysed the transfer potential of technologies, and defined joint marketing plans in collaboration with industry associations and technology centres.
Her career also includes international experience at the University of the West of England (United Kingdom), working on the “Microelectronics iNet” project, funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), where she supported SMEs and researchers in the preparation of innovation projects to secure funding. Her main areas of interest are research management, knowledge transfer, innovation, and the generation of scientific and societal impact.
