Nuria Ferrer Añón is a sociologist graduated from the University of Valencia (UV). She is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Social Science Research Methodology at the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM), where she has developed a diverse methodological background combining qualitative techniques, participatory methods and Participatory Action Research (PAR), as well as quantitative data analysis using programming.

She currently applies and expands these skills in the field of the sociology of science, working as a Research Assistant at INGENIO (CSIC-UPV) within the Governance and Epistemic Change project.

Her main research interests lie in the field of urban sociology, particularly the study of socio-spatial inequalities and neighbourhood dynamics of coexistence. This interest has developed through different research experiences, including her work as a collaboration scholarship holder in the MIDICO research group, her Bachelor's thesis, which focused on socio-urban transformations in València and their relationship with the presence of immigrant populations, and currently, the development of her Master's thesis.
