About
Nuria Ferrer Añón holds a degree in sociology from the University of Valencia (UV) and is currently studying for a Master’s degree in Research Methodology in the Social Sciences at the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM).
Her research profile is characterised by a strong methodological versatility, combining the use of qualitative and participatory techniques with advanced analysis of quantitative data using programming languages such as R and Python.
She is currently applying and expanding these skills in the field of the sociology of science, working as a Research Assistant at the INGENIO institute (CSIC-UPV) as part of the Governance and Epistemic Change project.
At the same time, her main area of analytical focus and specialisation remains urban sociology, centred on the study of socio-spatial inequalities and neighbourhood dynamics. This interest was evident during her time as a research fellow with the MIDICO research group and in her final-year dissertation on socio-urban transformations in Valencia.
