Zahia Guidoum Castiblanque (Valencia, 1994) holds a double degree in sociology and political sciences from the University of Valencia and has a wide range of experience in international institutions, private organisations and, more recently, in the academic sector.

Following a period spent working in research and management roles at private and international organisations (such as the International Centre for Parliamentary Studies (London/Brussels), Plataforma per la Llengua (Valencia), International IDEA (Stockholm) and Unlock Democracy (London)), she joined the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), where she was able to apply and build on her experience within the UPV’s Ethics Committee. All of this has enabled her to develop an interdisciplinary perspective, focused on research ethics, social innovation and the management of projects with academic and civic impact. She is currently working on the CapaCITIES 2.0 project at INGENIO (CSIC-UPV).

On a voluntary basis, she co-founded the Centre de Valencians a l’Exterior (CEVEX) in the UK, Valencians UK, and was a member of AEGEE Election Observation (now AGORA Election Observation) to promote a youth perspective in European electoral processes.
