Teresa Domenech Aparisi

I am a researcher in the field of Industrial Ecology and the Circular Economy. I have a PhD in Industrial Ecology and Industrial Symbiosis from the University College of London. For the past 12 years, I have worked as  postdoc and then secured an academic position as Associate Professor at the University College of London, among the world's top 10 universities in main university rankings. I was awarded a Ramon y Cajal scholarship in 2021 to join Ingenio. I have a track record of internationally leading peer-review publications in the area of the Circular Economy and extensive experience in coordinating international research projects and managing large teaching and research budgets in collaboration with policy makers and industry. My skills cover specialised research tools including Network Analysis, Material Flow Analysis, Life Cycle Assessment, and other environmental assessment modelling methods. My fields of expertise cover Circular urban systems, the circular economy, new business models, sustainable production systems, resource efficiency and policies for sustainable resources.
