The 2014 Eu-SPRI Forum Early Career Researcher Conference - INGENIO PhD Days, "Interdisciplinarity in the Study of the Dynamics of Science, Technology and Innovation", has extended the deadlines for submission of papers.

Ingenio welcomes Debora Costa de Azevedo (Visiting Professor at the Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos - UNISINOS). The current work of this researcher focuses on "Studies on innovation: developing new approaches"

 


Mónica Edwards Schachter presented last November 14th at the Social Frontier 2013 Conference the following work: "How empowering is social innovation? Identifying barriers to participation in community driven innovation".


Ingenio welcomes Frank de Bakker (Associate Professor of Strategic Management, Department of Organization Sciences, VU University, Amsterdam) and Itziar Castelló (Visiting Professor in the Department of Business Economics at the University Carlos III of Madrid). The current work of these two researchers focuses on the analysis of social innovations promoted by environmental movements.

José Félix Lozano Aguilar, Full Professor in Dept. of Engineering Projects (UPV), will be part of Ingenio.
His research interest areas are: Sustainability & Environmental Governance, Social Innovation, Skills & Human Capital, University Society Interactions, Entrepreneurship & Innovation, Economics of Education.


Ozlem Young (University of Birmingham) and Gergely Hanko (ÖKO-Pack) visit Ingenio during 4 weeks. Both professionals have an specific work programme for their stay and will be mentored by Ingenio researchers.
Ozlem Young, mentored by Davide Consoli , will be working in “Fostering sustainable construction and renewable energy through network governance. The case of Valencia Region (2011-2013)” , while Gergely Hanko, mentored by Adela Garcia Aracil, will be focused on the “Role of HEIs fostering Competencies and Capabilities for Green Growth”.
