Ignacio Fernandez de Lucio is Research Professor at the Spanish Council for Scientific Research (CSIC) working on INGENIO (CSIC-UPV), Institute for Innovation and Knowledge Management , joint Institute of the Spanish Council for Scientific Research and the Polytechnic University of Valencia.
He has more than 35 years of experience in the management of science and technology and has been advisor of the Spanish government for science and innovation policies. He has participated in over 50 projects and research contracts and published over 100 articles on these subjects in journals and international books area. He usually spread their knowledge and management experience through courses, seminars and conferences in Europe and Latin America. In 2005 he was awarded the "Juan de la Cierva" National Prize for Research in Technology Transfer by the Spanish Ministry of Education and Science.
