Qualifications: B.Arts (Hons I) 1996, Anthropology and Sociology, University of Sydney, Australia and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD.) 2003 Sociology, Western Sydney University, Australia.

Experience: Richard Woolley has a PhD in sociology and has been research fellow at INGENIO (CSIC-UPV) since 2012. Previously he had ten years’ experience working on science, research and innovation policy and projects in Australia and SE Asia. His current funded projects include: a study of relationships between research integrity and public (mis)trust of science (POIESIS, Horizon Europe); an international collaborative centre on research impact (OSIRIS, Research Council of Norway); and the design and implementation of a monitoring and evaluation framework for responsible research and innovation (SUPER MoRRI, H2020).

Areas of Interest: Sociology of science & technology, Skills & innovation, Scientific mobility and highly skilled migration, Science & research policy, Economic sociology, scientific knowledge and consumer products, gambling industries.
